Harvest in circulation 2015
Alcoholic strength of 13% Vol.
From grapes of the Greek variety Malagouzia cultivated in vineyards in Nea Mesimvria, Thessaloniki.
Pre-fermentation extraction controlled alcoholic fermentation by staying on its lees for a few months, gaining in structure and body.
Malagouzia : An old Greek veriety that threatened to disappear. It has a strong and complex aromatic character with a rich flavor. The fragrance of the nose is distinguished by soft aromas with floral (peach, pear, melon, lime grapefruit). It can give wines of high alcoholic strenght, moderate acidity, with a pleasant fruity aftertaste.
Characteristics : Color bright glossy green with yellow shades. Bright bouquet of ripe fruits. Delicate mouth with refreshing acidity and balanced finish. Served at 8-10 oC and in a small glass of tulip shape for young, white wines. It accompanies ideal salads, appetizers and the first dishes of a meal. It blends harmoniously with pies, pasta, cheese crepes, chicken and pork with white sauces or in Asian version with sweet sauces. Ideal for aperitifs or to harmonize a meal, accompanying cheeses and seasonal fruits.
