Goat cheese Mastelo is a white Greek cheese. It has a subtle smell, a stretchy texture and it's got a milky taste. It develops a beautiful taste when grilled. It is produced from full fat pasteurized goat milk by agile mammals living in the mountains of Chios, Greece. The natural flora of Chios gives tasty features to the milk which filter down to the final product and characterize it. Goat cheese Mastelo is delicious in sandwiches, in toasts, or as a side dish of Greek drinks.
